Summary of Position
Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT System Administrator will be responsible for analyzing, installing, administering, and configuring infrastructure systems at the enterprise level while participating in capacity planning, maintaining infrastructure disaster recovery plans, monitoring performance activities, and providing operational support for two facilities.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage all aspects of network devices, and the enforcement of security policies, standards guidelines, and procedures.
- Responsible for system backup, recovery, and retention of all data for cloud servers.
- Monitor systems to ensure systems are healthy and in compliance.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on solving problems and breaking down the root cause of recurring problems.
- Deploy and configure new Cloud based applications with appropriate security controls, such as SSO integrations.
- Credential and Account Management
- Implement and maintain the business directory services, identity management systems, productivity and messaging services, malware protection, MDM.
- Responsible for up-to-date asset tracking of devices and software.
- Routinely configure and maintain physical and logical infrastructure components and provides support for them.
- Provide help desk support for escalated issues related to desktop software, hardware, peripherals, and AV.
- Maintain Active Directory, Office 365 user profiles and maintain records.
- Monitor and mitigate security risks, including quarterly security audits.
- First point of contact for critical issues and outages.
- Partner with Director of IT on strategic projects with taking the lead on strategic rollouts.
- Participate in weekly on-call rotations for after-hours. weekend support.
- Following ticketing system SLA's, tracking of work performed.
- Provide device and software support, including installation of new software and updates when required.
- Update and load new computer images on end user laptops and desktops.
- Provide manager with regular updates on common problems encountered and identify possible long-term solutions/improvements to reduce future problems.
- Maintain close contact and open communication with end users until the issue has been resolved.
- Complies with safety, quality and food safety requirements including GMPs when in production areas and reports issues to appropriate management.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in IT related field or an additional 5 years of experience working in a technical environment
- Proven ability to install, upgrade, repair, move and replace desktops, laptops, smart phones/tablets, and other technical equipment
- Familiarity with data backup, disaster recovery and system imaging
- Knowledge of IT systems including servers, desktops, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management
- Microsoft SQL 2019
- Networking skills a plus
- Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards, including TCP/IP, Windows 10 and above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical language
- Demonstrated success with providing support and problem resolution with unfamiliar systems, software and hardware and a passion for solving problems long-term
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate professionalism while maintaining composure in stressful situations
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides

Preferred
- Experience in food processing or packaging in an automated, high-speed packaging environment.
- Knowledge and practical experience in ITIL.
- Spanish helpful but not required.

We Offer
Base salary estimates are provided in good faith at the time of job posting. Job offers may vary based on the candidate’s education, certifications, job-related knowledge, skill, experience, geographic location, shift, and internal equity. Clyde’s may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
- Target base salary range: $80,000-$110,000
- Position is eligible for annual bonus
